This drawing of a curlew was made for my eldest son’s birthday in early March. I knew Coronavirus was here and I knew that lockdown would soon arrive and that, as a person in the highest risk, “shielded” group, I wouldn’t see him again for many months. So I drew him this singular bird to give him something to inspire him to hang in there, even when the going got tough.
